Job summary

Guyan Appointments & Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced senior electrical design lead for two hospital projects in the North West and Home Counties. You will act as the technical lead on the contractor’s side from Stage 4 through to site, shaping design strategy and managing consultants.

Expertise in Building Safety Act and CDM compliance is essential, with healthcare experience a plus. Chartered or Incorporated status (or working towards it) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical knowledge and design capability.
• Experience delivering Stage 3 and Stage 4 design.
• Experience managing consultants and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead technically for contractor from Stage 4 through to site.
• Shape design strategy and oversee consultant teams.
• Ensure Building Safety Act and CDM compliance across projects.

Job description

Two roles: North West (easy reach of Manchester) and Home Counties.

Two new hospitals with a Tier 1 M&E contractor, both at design stage. You'd be the technical lead on the contractor's side, from Stage 4 through to site.

Design strategy, consultant management and compliance, including the Building Safety Act and CDM.

Strong electrical knowledge. Stage 3 and 4 design experience. Chartered or Incorporated, or working towards it. Healthcare is a plus, not a must.
