What you’ll do

• Design electrical building services such as small power, lighting, security and data systems for major construction projects. These will include cutting-edge power and energy creation developments, giving you exposure to some of the most advanced work in the sector.
• Run cable calculations and specify electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and regulatory compliance. This hands-on technical work will deepen your expertise and make you a go-to specialist.
• Use the latest design software tools to produce high-quality detailed designs. You’ll work alongside experienced Chartered Engineers who will help you sharpen your skills and mentor you through complex projects.

What you’ll need

• At least 5 years’ experience in electrical building services design
• A solid understanding of small power, lighting, security and data systems
• Confidence using modern electrical design software tools
