Job summary

Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd seeks a Senior Design Engineer to join our Norwich team. You will design electrical systems for control and automation, producing detailed drawings and schematics, while collaborating with controls, software and instrumentation engineers.

The role offers a competitive salary (£45,000 - £95,000 basic), a bonus structure, ongoing training and a clear progression path. Commutable to Norwich and a Monday–Friday, pension, and holiday package are provided.

Qualifications

Previous experience within Electrical Design within Automation or Control Systems.
HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience using electrical CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN or similar.

Responsibilities

Producing detailed electrical designs and engineering drawings for control and automation systems.
Creating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and control panel designs.
Working closely with controls, software, instrumentation and project engineers.
Selecting electrical components and ensuring designs meet relevant engineering standards.
Commutable to the Norwich site.
