We're looking for aSenior Electrical Design Engineerto join our Plug and Play team and help shape the future of water and wastewater infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the electrical design process, including specifications, optioneering, and detailed design.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into robust electrical solutions.
  • Supporting early–stage commissioning planning and ensuring designs meet regulatory and operational standards.
  • Continuously improving standard designs based on feedback, risk assessments, and performance data.
  • Ensuring seamless integration between product design and site implementation teams.
Qualifications & Skills

What you'll bring to the role:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline and/or a minimum of 5 years proven experience in electrical design.
  • Familiarity with CAD, and digital electrical design tools such as E–Plan.
  • Experience managing product life cycles and working with supply chains.
  • Strong understanding of H&S, and risk management in engineering design.
  • An innovative and collaborative mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders to drive practical, effective solutions.
  • Flexibility to travel between sites throughout the UK on an Ad–hoc basis as projects demand.
