Job summary

PSD Scotland is a remote-friendly employer formed from NSS and NES, uniting expertise to support the NHS in Scotland. The Senior Educator leads education strategy for General Practice Nursing and coordinates CPD Connect across directorates, delivering a coherent national GPN education programme.

You will work with health boards, national programmes, and stakeholders to align education with policy priorities and strengthen leadership across the primary care nursing workforce.

Qualifications

• Experience in educational leadership, programme design, and curriculum development within healthcare.
• Knowledge of primary care nursing, including GPN career pathways, workforce challenges, and service delivery models.
• Ability to build effective partnerships and influence across organisational and professional boundaries.
• Demonstrate honesty, integrity, care and compassion when dealing with others, using tact and persuasion skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative, organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
