Are you passionate about supporting children to grow in confidence and develop the skills they need to thrive?
Join Ballasalla Primary School, a vibrant and inclusive primary school where relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Over the past 12 months, we've developed a dedicated learning space where pupils can build their social and emotional skills, and you'll play an important part in continuing this support across the school. Working closely with our SENCO, teaching staff and support team, you'll organise and deliver tailored learning and social-emotional interventions that support pupils' development academically, socially and emotionally.
In this hands-on role, you'll support pupils with a range of educational and complex learning needs, including those who may display significant or challenging behaviours. You'll work independently to plan and manage interventions, help pupils access learning, contribute to individual education, behaviour and support plans, and use positive behaviour management techniques to build confidence and self-esteem. You'll also provide constructive feedback to teachers on pupils' progress, using your initiative, organisation and understanding of individual needs to identify the support that will help each child move forward.
If you're ready to bring your enthusiasm, experience and nurturing approach to our school community, we'd love to hear from you.
