Job summary

United Media is seeking a Senior Editor to lead the creation of our flagship magazines from our London HQ. You will own editorial direction, oversee writing, editing, and proofreading, and collaborate with a Graphic Designer to craft compelling magazines.

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing or English (outstanding results).
• +5 years of work experience with outstanding performance from a magazine or media company.
• UK work permit required.
• Outstanding writing, editing and creative skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Well-organised, able to structure and prioritise work.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly research industry-related topics and ideas for stories and articles.
• Interview relevant people.
• Copywrite, write, edit and proofread content for our magazines.
• Construct the magazines including photos, design and artwork (with help from our Graphic Designer).
