Job summary

S&W, launching a new Economic Advisory team in the UK, seeks a Financial Economist to lead complex engagements for corporates, regulators, and government bodies. The role offers broad exposure and a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture that values client impact and thought leadership.

You will work across competition, regulatory, valuation, and econometrics projects, while mentoring junior colleagues and helping grow the practice.

Qualifications

• Significant consultancy experience in economic valuation and financial economics.
• Proven ability to deliver economic advice on high-profile issues.

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Strong client relationship building and business development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex economic advisory engagements.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Support business development activities, including proposals and pitches.
• Provide technical expertise across economics projects.
• Coach and develop junior team members.
