Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd is seeking a Solution Architect for eCommerce to lead the design of modern enterprise platforms. You will work with a team of 50+ in a mature practice, focusing on headless architecture and scalable solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Amplience, Algolia, and related tools.

Hybrid working with strong training opportunities is offered. You’ll engage with stakeholders, guide delivery across core domains like order management, frontend, content, and payment, and keep learning

Qualifications

• Experience designing modern enterprise ecommerce platforms.
• Strong knowledge of headless ecommerce architectures.
• Ability to distill complex architectures for non-technical audiences.
• Experience with integration patterns and enterprise-scale delivery.
• Familiarity with TOGAF is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of solutions for enterprise ecommerce platforms.
• Specialize in core technologies such as order management, front end, CMS, payments, search and marketplaces.
• Collaborate with other technical roles to deliver fit-for-purpose, scalable solutions.
• Present architecture decisions at Design Authority and other forums, gaining stakeholder consensus.
• Evaluate cloud-based tooling (Salesforce, Amplience, Algolia, Dynamic Yield, Blue Yonder) for implementation.
