Senior Ecologist (Homebased Midlands) (BBBH30353) Leicester, England

Salary: GBP40000 - GBP46000 per annum

Allen & York are working with a highly regarded organisation providing a wide range of environmental services across the UK.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Ecologist to join our established team.

The role involves delivering ecological consultancy services on various projects, specializing in protected species and terrestrial ecology.

Requirements
  1. Degree in an environmental subject
  2. Extensive experience in ecology, with focus on protected species and terrestrial environments
  3. Membership in a professional body such as CIEEM
  4. Strong IT skills and experience with scheduling/programming software
  5. Knowledge of survey techniques including protected species and Phase 1 habitat
  6. At least one protected species licence
  7. Understanding of relevant legislation
  8. Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and colleagues
  9. Flexibility for travel and working hours, full UK driving licence required
  10. Previous commercial/regulatory experience is advantageous
