CSA Environmental is seeking a Senior Ecologist for their Ashwell, Hertfordshire team. The role offers path to Principal level and involves coordinating ecological inputs across project stages and leading protected species surveys.

The successful candidate will mentor junior ecologists, work closely with landscape, heritage and masterplanning teams, and contribute to high-quality, pragmatic ecological advice throughout the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' ecology experience or higher.
• Experience leading ecological surveys and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver ecological inputs across project stages.
• Lead protected species surveys and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and review ecological assessment reports and related documentation.
• Mentor junior ecologists and support team development.
• Collaborate with design teams and clients to develop proportionate ecological solutions.
