  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct protected species and habitat surveys.
  • Produce high-quality technical reports including PEAs and EcIAs.
  • Support delivery of Biodiversity Net Gain assessments.
  • Liaise with clients, planning authorities, and stakeholders.
  • Support junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Senior Ecologist – Sheffield

As an Ecologist, you’ll be responsible for;

  • Conducting protected species and habitat surveys (e.g. bats, GCN, reptiles, badgers)
  • Producing high-quality technical reports including PEAs, EcIAs, and management plans
  • Supporting the delivery of Biodiversity Net Gain assessments
  • Liaising with clients, planning authorities, and stakeholders
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to internal knowledge sharing
What We’re Looking For;
  • A degree in ecology or related environmental discipline
  • Consultancy experience (or demonstrable equivalent)
  • Strong report writing and survey skills
  • Knowledge of UK planning policy and legislation
  • Ideally at least one protected species licence (or working towards)
  • Full UK driving licence
