Qualifications

  • Experience in leading ecological surveys and assessments.
  • Confidence in project management, client liaison, and team leading.
  • Experience in writing fee proposals and ecological reports (EcIA, HRA, mitigation strategies).
  • Ability to undertake technical reviews of PEAs and ecological assessments.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
  • GCN or Bat license preferred.

I am currently recruiting for a Senior Ecologist to join a multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Brighton, to join them ahead of the next survey season. This company prides itself on their staff retention and development and offers continuous training and support to get you to your career goals.

What you will need :

  • Experience in leading ecological surveys and assessments
  • Confidence in project management, client liaison and team leading
  • Experience in writing fee proposals and ecological reports including : EcIA, HRA, and mitigation strategies
  • Ability to undertake technical reviews of PEAs and ecological assessments
  • Experience in mentoring junior staff (desired but not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experienced with GIS and data analysis tools
  • GCN or Bat license
