Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking an exceptional Echocardiographer for a Band 7 locum role in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The position runs for 8 months with a rate of £50–£60 per hour, engaging in approximately one day per week.

You will perform a broad range of echocardiography tasks, maintain and troubleshoot equipment, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while delivering accurate data interpretation and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Echocardiography or a related field.
• Extensive experience in echocardiographic services.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a broad spectrum of echocardiography tasks.
• Maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot echocardiography equipment.
• Analyze and interpret complex echocardiographic data accurately.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure patient care.
