Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 3 Senior Assistant Technical Officer to support ECG services across Leeds General Infirmary, St James's Hospital and other sites. You will work within the Cardio-Respiratory Department providing 12-lead ECGs, ambulatory ECG fitting, BP and sleep monitoring across acute and community settings.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Technical Officer with competency to perform 12-lead ECGs.
• Theoretical knowledge of a broad range of basic fundamental cardiac investigations.
• A good team player with the ability to work autonomously, co-ordinate, plan and prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of ECG services across multiple sites.
• Coordinate day-to-day operation of the ECG service.
• Assist with fitting ambulatory ECG, BP and sleep monitoring.
• Work autonomously and as part of a team to deliver high-quality patient care.
