Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking Senior EC&I Engineers for a long-term contract role based in the United Kingdom, particularly in Warrington or Preston. Candidates should have experience in producing essential CE&I documentation and knowledge of SCADA and PLC systems. The position requires UK work authorization and the potential to acquire SC clearance. This is an excellent opportunity to work within the Nuclear sector with negotiable rates based on experience.

Qualifications

Job Overview

Our client is currently looking for Senior EC&I Engineers based within the Northwest, the position would be a long term contract Inside of IR35 that will be offering negotiable rates that are commensurate with your experience, the workload will be based in either the clients Preston or Warrington offices dependant on your location and will also be working on a project that is located towards Preston.

Key Responsibilities

Our client will be looking for EC & I engineers who have experience within producing CE&I documentation such as:

• Risk assessments
• Functional safety verification reports
• Sequence and interlocks definition documents
• FDS
• Instrument datasheets
• EMC design philosophy
• P&IDs
• Interlock proof tests
• O&M manuals
• Technical file and training documentation

The client will also be looking for candidates who have knowledge of configuration diagrams, cable route diagrams, Instrument tubing diagrams and pressure drop and cable calculations. The client will also be looking for candidates that have experience of SCADA and PLC's.

Requirements

As always the right to work must be established within the UK and SC clearance will be required and candidates must be applicable to acquire SC clearance if they do not already hold it. The work will be based within the Nuclear industry.
