Job summary

A leading company in nuclear decommissioning is seeking a talented engineer to design electrical and control systems for PLC-based control panels. The role offers a competitive salary range of £50k to £70k, along with hybrid working conditions, including a 9-day fortnight and a supportive team environment. Successful candidates will have at least 4 years of experience in control panel development and a proven track record of delivering successful systems.

What will you be doing?

As part of the role, you will design electrical and control systems focused on PLC‑based control panels but including cabling, MCCs, drives & controls, switchgear and related EC&I equipment within the nuclear decommissioning sector. You will be involved in site surveys, electrical engineering solutions for cabling, control panel designs, as well as the preparation, review and checking of necessary calculations and designs.
