Job summary

An international engineering company is seeking a highly capable Senior EC&I Engineer to support and lead Defence engineering activities. You will develop control system concepts, ensuring designs are safe and compliant. The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical or Control Engineering, with at least three years of experience, and strong skills in project management and communication. This role offers the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and engage with multidisciplinary teams while contributing significantly to energy transition solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience at Engineer grade or in an equivalent role.
• Membership of a relevant institution (IET, IMC) and working towards Chartered status.

To ensure a viable, efficient, and reliable energy future for all.## Job Description**Your future team**:We are seeking a **highly capable Senior EC&I Engineer** to support and lead engineering activities across a diverse portfolio of **Defence work packages**.This role spans the **full engineering lifecycle** — from early requirements and concept development through to **detailed design, technical governance and assurance**.As a **Senior EC&I Engineer**, you will work **independently with minimal supervision**, lead small discipline teams, support and mentor engineers, and take responsibility for producing **high-quality engineering outputs**.
