South Ayrshire Council is seeking a Senior Early Years Practitioner for Prestwick North Early Years Centre. The role involves planning, delivering, and assessing a flexible, high-quality education and care service for young children and families.

Under the EYC Manager, you will work as part of the early years team to meet the diverse needs of local children in Prestwick. The post is temporary until 11 August 2027, with a starting salary in the Level 8 band (£33,945–£36,737).

Qualifications

• PVG Scheme membership or update required prior to offer.
• Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as PVG criteria.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning, delivering, and assessing a flexible high-quality education and care service.
• Work under the direction of the EYC Manager as an effective member of the early years team.
• Meet the needs of young people and their families in Prestwick North EYC.
