Job summary

South Staffordshire College is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to deliver teaching across the Tamworth and Cannock campuses, support, teach and assess apprentices working toward Level 3 Early Years Educator and L5 Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship Standards. The role requires safeguarding awareness, a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS) and an assessor qualification (A1 or equivalent).

A full driving licence and willingness to travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold PGCE or DTTLS teaching qualification and an assessor qualification (A1 or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Level 3 Early Years Educator and with workplace assessments desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching across Tamworth and Cannock campuses.
• Conduct workplace reviews and observations of apprentices.
• Prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment and support ongoing CPD.
