Wood is recruiting for a Senior E&I Draughtsperson to join our Digital Operations team within our Digital Consulting business.
The positions are based in Hull, one on a hybrid basis and the other site based.
The Senior E&I Draughtsperson will be the last line of defense in ensuring that all documents and drawings are accurate up to as building before submitting for final review to the client. The E&I Senior will use various CAD / Raster editing packages, assisting in creating mark‑ups, checking and approving documentation adhering to all relevant standards, processes and procedures.
This is a critical position within the draughting team and the successful candidate will be an experienced draughtperson who is not only technically astute but also able to provide peer review and on‑the‑job coaching to less experienced members of the team. The Senior Draughtsperson will also be a key liaison to the client, updating them on any further documentation updates required and ensuring that all updates and revisions are collated in accordance with the required standards and timeframes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced E&I draughtsperson with excellent communication skills, great attention to detail, and who is looking for a varied fast‑paced role with the opportunity to support in the development of the next generation of talented draughts people delivering work critical to the digitalisation of the energy and materials sectors.
