Responsibilities

• Lead multiple D365 F&O implementation projects within strategic programs or large-scale ERP efforts.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities by assisting with budgets, resource estimates, and high-level implementation plans.
• Define scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables with clear responsibilities for project teams.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, external vendors, and stakeholders; provide guidance and support to maximize performance.
• Ensure on-time delivery within budget and quality standards; maintain client relationships and satisfaction.
• Identify risks, mitigate issues, and monitor financial performance; provide status updates to management.
• Oversee Incident, Problem, and Change/Release Management activities to support project delivery.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Dynamics 365 F&O Project Manager based in United Kingdom.

As a Senior Dynamics 365 F&O Project Manager, you will lead complex ERP implementation projects, overseeing multiple concurrent initiatives or large-scale strategic programs. You will take ownership of projects from initial planning and pre-sales support through to successful delivery, ensuring they meet business objectives, deadlines, and budget expectations. Working closely with international teams, solution architects, clients, and external vendors, you will drive project strategy and operational excellence. You will play a key role in building strong client relationships, managing risks, and delivering high-quality solutions. Accountabilities

• Lead multiple Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) implementation projects within strategic programs or oversee large-scale individual ERP implementations from initiation to completion.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities by collaborating with solution architects to prepare project budgets, resource estimates, and high-level implementation plans.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring clear responsibilities and effective task delegation across project teams.
• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, external vendors, and stakeholders, providing the necessary guidance, training, and support to maximize team performance.
• Take full accountability for project delivery, ensuring milestones are achieved on time, within budget, and according to agreed quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring effective communication, stakeholder alignment, and a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Identify potential risks, anticipate challenges, resolve complex project issues, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Oversee project financial performance, monitor budgets, and prepare regular financial reports for management.
• Provide clients with transparent and consistent progress updates, ensuring project status, achievements, and potential issues are communicated effectively.
• Coordinate Incident, Problem, and Change/Release Management activities to support smooth project execution and successful delivery.

Requirements

• Extensive experience managing Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) implementation projects, or other large-scale ERP implementations, ideally involving multiple concurrent projects or strategic programs.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, managing large accounts, and taking full ownership of project outcomes, budgets, timelines, and risks.
• Strong project management, planning, organizational, and resource allocation skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Experience collaborating on Incident, Problem, and Change/Release Management processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly when addressing complex technical or operational challenges.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills, with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, manage competing priorities, and elevate issues appropriately when required.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple time zones, primarily within Europe.
• A proactive, curious, and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to learn new technologies and continuously develop professional skills.
