Job summary

Lyreco in Doncaster is seeking a Senior Delivery Driver to support the Regional Distribution Centre. You will assist in daily operational management of drivers, load and unload orders, and ensure high levels of customer service across routes.

**Senior Delivery Driver****Location – Doncaster****Salary – £34,000.88 per annum****Hours of Work – Monday to Friday** **Ready to create something great?**At Lyreco, we're about **empowering people to create great** – and we're looking for a **Senior Delivery Driver** to join our **Doncaster Depot**.We have a rare opportunity become available to join our team as a Distribution Team Leader at our Regional Distribution Centre in Doncaster**.**Reporting to the Regional Distribution Centre Manager, the Senior Delivery Driver position is responsible for assisting in the daily operational management of drivers. **As a Distribution Senior Delivery Driver your responsibilities are:*** Support the RDC Manager to manage a team of Delivery Drivers, providing relief cover for holidays, sickness and training when needed.* Fully flexible, occasionally travel to other depots, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.* To load and unload truckers where applicable to deliver orders, which may be furniture or General Office Products, to the customer and maintain a high level of customer service.* Assist in the unloading / breakdown of pallets and the sortation of goods into route order as required.* To assist with random vehicle checks making sure that items loaded are correct.* Undertake weekly vehicle checks for damage, wear, and tear.
