Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a driven Project Manager to lead drainage rehabilitation projects using CIPP/CIPR methods. You will plan, programme, and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver safely, on time and within budget.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication with clients and authorities, and a proactive approach to risk management and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing projects in drainage, utilities, civil engineering, or trenchless sectors.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading operational teams and subcontractors.
• Commercial awareness with budget management capability.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety compliance and legislation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Microsoft Project.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and successful delivery of drainage rehabilitation projects using CIPP/CIPR technologies.
• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes and delivery plans.
• Define project scope, resource requirements, sequencing, and operational strategies.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects across various operational locations.
• Act as primary contact for clients, authorities, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments for delivery.
• Monitor progress, provide updates, and optimise productivity.
• Lead RAMS reviews, permits, and site documentation for compliance.
