Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Drainage & Infrastructure Engineer in Peterborough. The role focuses on leading drainage and infrastructure design across retail, commercial, and office schemes with autonomy.

The candidate should hold a civil engineering degree or equivalent, with 5+ years' consultancy experience, and strong abilities in planning, designing, and managing schemes, including tenders and consent applications. Flood risk experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in civil engineering.
• At least 5 years' consultancy experience.
• Ability to work with full autonomy.
• Experience advising, planning, designing and project managing schemes for construction and development.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills; prepare tenders and reports, as well as consent applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage and infrastructure design on a range of projects.
• Prepare tenders and reports; consent applications.
• Design foul and surface water drainage, highway and infrastructure schemes.
• Advise, plan, design and manage schemes from inception to construction.
• Maintain strong client-facing communication throughout projects.
