Senior Automatic Door Engineer - Bespoke Revolving Doors

V7 Recruitment are working with a reputable client in the automatic door industry who are looking to add an experienced Senior-level Automatic Door Engineer to their growing team. This business creates high-end revolving, pivot, and sliding doors that blend design, safety, and performance.

You will have the opportunity to be flown out to their European manufacturing sites to understand the product in more detail.

Role Responsibilities

• As Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for training new engineers, and conducting engineering audits
• Installation, servicing, and repair of automatic door systems in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards
• Conduct regular maintenance visits and safety inspections
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and effectively
• Work closely with customers to provide technical advice and tailored solutions
• Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records
• Adhere to all on-site health and safety requirements
• Keep up to date with the latest developments in automatic door technology

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automatic Door Engineer - with demonstrable experience on Revolving doors
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Professional communication and customer service abilities
• Full UK driving license preferred
• Relevant electrical or engineering qualifications beneficial
