Job summary

MCR Gas in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Gas Engineer to join our growing team. You will carry out domestic boiler servicing and breakdowns, diagnose faults, and install boilers from combi swaps to full system conversions, in customers’ homes and on-site.

This role requires a professional, reliable engineer with strong knowledge of gas safety regulations, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to represent the company to high standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in domestic gas servicing and boiler breakdowns.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across multiple boiler brands.
• Competence in boiler installations, including combi swaps and full system conversions.
• Excellent knowledge of gas safety regulations.
• Professional, reliable and motivated attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic boiler servicing and breakdowns.
• Diagnose and repair faults efficiently and accurately.
• Install boilers from combi swaps through to full system conversions.
• Complete installations to a high standard, including system upgrades and pipework alterations.
• Ensure all work is safe, compliant and completed to regulations.
• Represent MCR Gas professionally in customers' homes.
