Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a Senior Python/Django Developer to join our engineering team and take ownership of key parts of the product. You will design and build a scalable marketplace platform with a focus on quality and delivering value.

You'll work in an early-stage startup environment, shipping impactful features and participating in architectural decisions with modern tech.

We are looking for a Senior Python/Django Developerto work with us to build our platform.You’ll have the opportunity to work in an exciting, early-stage startup in a senior role within our growing Engineering team and be supported in taking ownership of key parts of the product.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Playing a crucial role in designing and building out our marketplace platform
• Shipping and taking ownership of impactful new features and functionality

REQUIRED

• 2 years+ commercial experience in Python
• Experience working with a web application framework (Django, Flask, ...)

• Experience in architecting and building scalable web applications

WOULD BE AWESOME

• Development & consumption of HTTP APIs

• DevOps experience (repeatable deployments, automated releases, CI/CD, infrastructure as code)
• Experience developing financial applications for use by financial institutions
