Location : This is a hybrid role, offering a combination of being able to work remotely and from our offices in UK, Germany, or Switzerland.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Director of Margin Optimisation to lead pricing strategy and margin performance across the EMEA region for RS Group. This is a senior leadership role within our Product & Supplier Management (P&SM) function, driving strategic direction, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making to maximize commercial performance.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead and develop teams responsible for pricing and margin optimisation across EMEA.
• Direct pricing strategies and margin optimisation programs to improve profitability and commercial outcomes.
• Represent EMEA in the Group pricing community, owning tools, processes, and initiatives.
• Establish frameworks and cadence for identifying and exploiting margin opportunities using data-driven insights.
• Partner with category teams to optimize procurement and cost price management.
• Develop and manage commercial tools and systems for pricing and margin (e.g., quotations, bids, tenders).
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency through process and technology enhancements.
• Build a culture of transparency and high-quality performance management.
• Provide strategic counsel to senior stakeholders on pricing and margin optimisation.

What You will Bring

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Financial Economics, or Econometrics.
• Considerable experience in pricing and margin optimisation within a relevant business context.
• Strong analytical and project management skills, with proficiency in pricing tools and processes.
• Proven leadership experience, including managing senior stakeholders and building high‑performing teams.
• Ability to influence and communicate complex ideas effectively across diverse audiences.
• Strong business acumen and customer‑centric mindset.
• Experience in international, matrixed organizations and cross‑cultural collaboration.
• A track record of driving business growth through data‑driven insights and strategic execution.
