Cencora is looking for a Senior Director, Global Pricing to join the team.

Summary

As Senior Director, Global Pricing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-impact pricing strategies for pharmaceutical clients worldwide. Under the guidance of the Global Market Access and Pricing Lead, you will lead complex pricing projects throughout the product lifecycle, mentor a high-performing team, and serve as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to grow a team of pricing experts, expand service offerings, and drive innovation in pricing strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership on projects for multiple clients and/or therapeutic areas
  • Responsible for the strategic management of client relationships
  • Responsible for business development activities, including client presentations and proposal development
  • Collaborates with other functions, such as market access, HEOR, RWE, medical writing, statistics, etc.
  • Researches, monitors, and reviews the pricing landscape to support specific questions of interest
  • Develops and/or reviews study reports and scientific publications (abstracts, posters, manuscripts)
  • Supports goals for practice area/service line growth with inputs into innovative business expansion and/or new services
  • Contributes to the recruitment, training, and mentoring of junior staff
  • Maintains chargeability requirement
Education
  • A postgraduate degree (eg, Ph.D., M.D.) in a relevant discipline preferred. Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (eg, Health Economics, Pharmacy Administration, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, Clinical Epidemiology, Public Health Policy)
Work Experience
  • 15+ years of experience in global pricing—ideally within a consultancy
  • Proven track record of leading global pricing strategy projects and managing client relationships at the senior leadership level
Skills and Knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge of pricing and reimbursement (global and country-specific Health Technology Assessment - HTA), with a demonstrated higher level of specialization in pricing
  • Broad technical knowledge
  • Autonomous, structured and well‑organized
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, successful consulting firm, which maintains high‑quality standards and demands excellence
  • Strong work ethic
  • Functions as a team player
  • Functions well in a remote and virtual environment
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate, concisely and efficiently, complex material by means of presentations and discussions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional language(s) are valued)
  • Ability to network and partner with important external customers, including pharmaceutical companies and healthcare industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
