Job description
Senior Digital Service Owner

We are seeking a Senior Digital Service Owner to lead and shape the strategy of a digital service portfolio across six key areas: Cloud & Hosting, Communications & Collaboration, Engineering & Research, Enterprise IT, Software, and Workplace IT. You will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery, governance, and quality of these services, ensuring they meet current and future business needs.

To apply for this role, you must have significant experience developing and leading IT digital service strategies, managing multiple services end-to-end, and delivering measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a multi-service digital strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver and continually improve services.
  • Manage service governance, operational performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the escalation point for IT digital services. Monitor and report service performance, driving enhancements where required.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, influencing adoption of the strategy. Prioritise and manage service changes in an agile environment.
Essential Experience & Skills

Proven experience developing IT digital service strategies that meet evolving business needs.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business requirements into operational delivery.
  • Full lifecycle leadership of IT services—from inception to adoption, improvement, and decommissioning.
  • Management of multiple IT digital services, ensuring compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards.
  • Experience with diverse resource models: internal teams, contractors, and third-party vendors.
  • Skilled in negotiating SLAs and ensuring effective team performance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience translating digital roadmaps into actionable initiatives delivering measurable business value.
  • ITIL v3 certified (or equivalent experience).
  • Agile working experience (e.g., PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner, PSM I, or similar).
