Job summary

Southern Water is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive digital delivery initiatives in a hybrid role at Durrington, Worthing. You will lead complex IT/digital change, manage cross‑functional teams, and deliver projects from definition through mobilization, procurement, delivery and transition to support.

The role requires a strong PM background within large organisations, excellent stakeholder communication, and the ability to navigate a matrix environment. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires strong project management experience delivering large IT/digital programs.
• Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in matrix environments.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale IT/digital transformation projects from initiation to service transition.
• Create plans, estimates, budgets, milestones and deliverables for your programme.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix structure with clear communication and risk management.
• Ensure governance and PMO processes are followed; manage third-party suppliers.
• Collaborate with Business Owners, Product Owners and technical specialists to land the portfolio.
• Travel to other Southern Water sites occasionally as required.
