A leading healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a Delivery Lead to manage complex technology changes. You will oversee the software delivery lifecycle, manage budgets, and coordinate between teams. The ideal candidate will foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure project compliance with standards. This position offers a chance to make a significant impact within the healthcare sector.
Taking responsibility for leading the safe and effective delivery of highly complex technology change to a national critical application and associated technology, you will oversee the entire software delivery lifecycle from discovery through to delivery into the live environment. The technology change you manage will be the vehicle through which the blood technology modernisation journey is realised that ultimately will future proof the UK blood supply chain.
As a delivery lead you will hold a strategic and pivotal role. You will take leading responsibility for managing delivery budgets, a team of delivery managers and acting as the key point of contact for managing any delivery risks, issues and decisions. You will work closely to support the senior delivery lead to ensure the product centre is able to plan, schedule and deliver the change required to realise the modernisation journey. You will also have the opportunity to embed a standardised approach to delivery management and establish a culture of continuous improvement within the team. With the product centre you will have the opportunity to make a real impact by forming part of the delivery community of practice, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to best practice as well as learn and develop through collaborating with peers throughout.
It takes all types of people to deliver the kind of service that saves and improves lives.
