Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a versatile software engineer in Greater London to develop backend using Python (FastAPI) and/or frontend with React JS. You will work with cross-functional teams to shape features, coach juniors, and improve solutions across projects.

You'll engage in design, deployment, and ongoing improvements, collaborating in multi-location teams and communicating complex concepts clearly. Enterprise applications and modern deployment practices are part of this role.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in backend development using Python (FastAPI) and/or frontend development using React JS.
• Experience delivering enterprise-level applications within a product or client environment.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Experience working in collaborative, multi-location teams.
• Understanding of SQL, DevOps, Docker, containers, or deployment practices.
• Exposure to AI architecture, Databricks, or AI-assisted development is beneficial.
