As member of the SMB Sales team you will be responsible for finding new business and cross‑sell opportunities for Payroll and HR solutions across the ERP division. The role is both office and home based, with 2‑3 days in the office per week. This is an excellent opportunity to accelerate your career through a progressive software company with a proven record of growth, investment, and stability. You’ll be a new business hunter who takes a consultative approach to sales. You will take a keen interest in the payroll and HR marketplace and will want to truly understand the issues faced by clients looking to improve their employee systems. Day‑to‑day, you will:

Responsibilities
  • Manage your sales efforts and prospects to drive a low cost of sales
  • Be comfortable selling HR and Payroll and services
  • Use CRM to generate new business and cross‑sell opportunities
  • Comfortable networking internally and externally to maximise your reach
  • Be able to create and maintain a solid pipeline of prospects and be comfortable talking about them
  • Keep your pipeline completely up to date so you can forecast like a pro
  • Updating CRM is second nature to you, and even better if you already know Salesforce
  • Be comfortable working from a fixed pricing matrix, but know when to deviate and who to get sign‑off from
  • Ensure you come across as professional and personable both in person and across your social media channels
  • Be comfortable with the social selling approach and able to maximise LinkedIn
  • Be a true “follow‑up” master, never missing a beat and always making sure what you provide is useful and informative
  • Work with the ERP pre‑sales team to offer excellent software demos that leave your clients wowed
  • Be confident, persuasive and a phenomenal listener who can interpret customer challenges into deliverable solutions
  • Be ready to pivot with the market or changes to the solution to make sure you are able to hit your targets
Qualifications
  • Experience in a B2B sales role, ideally selling SAAS
  • Experience in the HR or Payroll tech industry is a positive
  • Comfortable presenting to groups
  • Able to work on your own initiative
