Position Overview

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Senior Dietitian to join our dynamic Dietetics Team within Secure Inpatient Services at Roseberry Park, Middlesbrough. This pivotal role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across Low and Medium Secure Services, supporting both male and female service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialist, evidence‑based interventions focused on physical health conditions for patients with Severe Mental Illness, Learning Disabilities and Autism within a forensic setting.
  • Collaborate closely with the multi‑disciplinary team, external partners and stakeholders, contributing to service development.
  • Provide training delivery to practice staff and mentorship to students.
  • Support weight management, Type 2 Diabetes and related obesity comorbidities for the patient population.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and clinical outcomes measurement.
Required Qualifications
  • Registered Dietitian with clinical experience in weight management, Type 2 Diabetes and obesity comorbidities.
  • Valid UK registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Experience working in secure or forensic settings preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
