Lookers Limited, trading as Glasgow Audi, is recruiting a Senior/Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join our established team in Glasgow. The role focuses on high-quality servicing, diagnostics and repairs in a busy workshop environment.

You will work 40 hours a week with options for a 4-day week or 1 in 3 Saturdays, depending on the rota, and you’ll have opportunities for career progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Motor industry experience (brand) is desirable but not essential; brand accreditation training will be provided.
• You’ll be self-motivated, able to support your team, and maintain high standards across vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately using computer-based technology.
• Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts and resolving defects.
• Taking the customer’s vehicle out on a road test to ensure faults are rectified.
• Warranty repairs per manufacturer guidelines and complete relevant write‑ups.
• Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard.
