Job description

Opportunities have arisen for Senior Radiographers, Band 6 to work within the Medical Imaging Department on the Ipswich Hospital Site within East Suffolk & North Essex Foundation Trust. We are part of a large district general hospital and you will be expected to rotate through all areas including the Emergency Department, CT scan, Fluoroscopy, all the plain film imaging modalities as well as opportunities for the right candidates to train within Vascular & Intervention and Cardiac modalities. We operate extended day working across a 7 day week and you will be expected to undertake overnight duties including undertaking emergency CT scans, covering weekends/bank holidays on a rostered basis. You will be required to support the managers and area Leads with delivery of an efficient and effective service within the current challenging healthcare environment. Previous/current NHS experience is essential for this role.

Additional Information

Adherence to Radiation Protection legislation/governance and report breaches using the DATIX incident reporting system, including notifying senior staff/RPS as appropriate.
