A leading healthcare organization has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Diagnostic Radiographer in Hemel Hempstead. You will be responsible for delivering high-standard radiographic services, supervising junior staff and students, and engaging in clinical governance. The ideal candidate will have experience in multiple imaging modalities, a HCPC registration, and a passion for patient care. Flexible shifts and career progression opportunities are available.
We have an exciting opportunity for a SeniorDiagnostic Radiographer in West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust,working at one of our three sites: Watford General, Hemel Hempstead, or StAlbans. You will be an effective and proactive member of the Radiography team,delivering a high standard of radiographic services to Radiologists andpatients while supervising junior staff and students. The role includesparticipation in our 24/7 shift system and additional rotas across all threesites.
As aSenior Diagnostic Radiographer, you willbe responsible in the establishment and ongoing maintenance of qualityassurance programmes, as well as actively participate in and, where required,lead clinical audit projects. Engagement in the Radiology Clinical Governanceprogramme is essential. This role also involves training staff and students inthe safe and effective use of X-ray department equipment, supervising juniorteam members, and providing support and guidance as needed. You will be expectedto stay updated with professional developments in Radiology, attend relevantseminars and courses, and maintain accurate, up-to-date records of ContinuingProfessional Development (CPD) in line with HCPC requirements. A core aspect ofthe role is to prioritise patient welfare and comfort at all times.
We will also consider Band 5 Radiographerfor this role.
