We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated, and skilled Radiographer to contribute to the delivery of a high-quality imaging service. You will play a key role in supporting a busy and diverse department that performs a wide range of examinations, including general X-ray, Theatres, Cardiac, CT (including CT cardiac and colons) and Interventional Radiology. Your base will be Colchester Hospital including travel to our Clacton and Harwich Hospitals.
You will join a department that supports its staff to pursue academic courses and develop their careers within a supportive and friendly environment. We are a teaching department and part of this role will be supervising our students and apprentices. In addition you will be an effective leader of the team and wider multi-professional healthcare team.
You will be an autonomous practitioner with proven post‑registration experience who provides an effective, high quality individualised care to patients and relatives/carers and to contribute to the continuing development of radiology practice. It is desirable to have specialist knowledge of CT, Cardiac Catheterisation or Interventional Radiology procedures and practices.
It is a requirement to be flexible to undertake a 7 day rostered week, including lates, nights, weekend and bank holidays.
