Job summary

Black Duck Software, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sr. DevOps Engineer to join the Cloud Operations team.

You will own the design, deployment, and operation of global SaaS and Hosted services on Google Cloud Platform, collaborating with Engineering, Product, IT and other groups to ensure security, reliability, and scale. Candidates bring hands-on GCP, network, and containerization expertise, experience with CI/CD and GitOps, and a proactive, self-starting mindset to deliver highly available

Qualifications

5+ years of 24x7 production ops for a SaaS or cloud service.
Hands-on GCP experience with GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM.
Experience with Docker and container security basics.
CI/CD and GitOps tooling experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go; IaC with Terraform.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain resilient, secure SaaS/Hosted infra on GCP.
Manage secure VPC networks, interconnects, DNS, firewall rules.
Automate deployment, monitoring, and incident response with CI/CD/GitOps.
Monitor performance with Cloud Monitoring and Logging; troubleshoot stack issues.
Scale infrastructure to meet demand using autoscaling and cost optimization.
Own end-to-end ops for customer-facing environments and change management.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Services on cross-functional needs.
Work with developers to deploy features via containerized Kubernetes patterns.
Improve runbooks and docs; use AI/LLM tools to accelerate tasks.
