Job summary

Code Wizards Group’s Multiplayer Wizards unit seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to join permanently, focusing on game migration work. You’ll use your deep DevOps experience to keep game infrastructure online, educate teammates, and act as an escalation point during incidents.

You will diagnose complex issues, automate across tools, and work across internal teams and customers to ensure seamless live operations for online games.

Qualifications

• Experience migrating a live service game in production.
• Knowledge of backend systems for online games and exposure to game engines (Unity/Unreal).
• Automation across tools using common DevOps tech.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and performing root cause analysis on customer infrastructure, including incident scenarios.
• Proactively identify and raise methods to improve team efficiency and procedures.
• Assisting with escalated issues across multiple teams.
• Writing clean, scalable, and performant scripts & code.
• Forming part of a regular on‑call rotation.
