Job summary

Hexegic is seeking a Senior DevOps engineer with a cybersecurity and cloud focus to design, build, and deploy secure infrastructure and applications.

You will work in a small, collaborative team with a high degree of autonomy, contributing to secure design, development and deployment of systems across exciting projects. The role requires UK security clearance and is on-site four days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud computing.
• Proficiency in networking, IAC and configuration management tools.
• Experience with containerisation and deployment of applications.
• Observability, logging and monitoring stack.
• Experience deploying and applying open-source tools and applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure, reliable cloud infrastructure and applications
• Use infrastructure as code to provision, configure, and manage cloud services and devices
• Design and deploy secure infrastructure and applications
• Monitor platform health, availability, and performance
• Implement and support CI/CD workflows
• Build, configure and deploy a variety of Networking Equipment and Devices
• Collaborate with engineering teams and customers to improve deployment, integration, and operational support for applications and services
• Investigate and apply new tooling and automation approaches
