Job summary

Areti Group | B Corp™ is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for our Manchester HQ with remote working and occasional travel to client sites across the UK. You will design, implement and maintain robust cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines for bespoke software solutions in secure environments.

You will collaborate with software engineers, architects and stakeholders in Agile teams to drive automation, reliability and continuous improvement across the software delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Extensive DevOps/Platform Engineering experience.
• Proven AWS cloud design and operation experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes administration.
• Docker/container best practices experience.
• CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins.
• Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform and Packer.
• Experience building highly available production platforms.
• Security best practices in cloud/DevOps environments.
• Experience working in Agile software delivery teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure within AWS environments.
• Deploy, manage and optimise Kubernetes clusters and containerised workloads.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using modern automation tooling.
• Create and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and deployment.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and observability across infrastructure and applications.
• Ensure infrastructure is highly available, resilient, secure and cost-effective.
• Support security, compliance and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, platform and deployment issues.
• Continuously improve platform performance, reliability and operational efficiency.
• Provide technical mentorship and support to junior DevOps engineers.
