Job description

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Enhance and streamline our continuous integration and deployment pipelines to improve reliability and speed.
• Review and improve our monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and rapid issue resolution.
• Database monitoring work on database monitoring and alerting to proactively prevent performance bottlenecks.
• We estimate this role will be approximately 30% focused on developer experience vs 70% infrastructure work.

A bit about you:

• Proven experience as a DevOps or Platform Engineer, with hands‑on expertise.
• Strong AWS and Terraform skills, with a track record of designing and managing cloud‑based systems.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and best practices to improve software delivery speed and reliability.
• Passion for developer velocity, continuously finding ways to make engineers more productive.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Self‑starter mindset, able to take ownership of projects and drive them forward without needing explicit direction.

Bonus Points for experience with:

• Experience with Ruby on Rails and optimising set up
• Measuring and improving developer productivity using DORA metrics.
• PostgreSQL, and security best practices.
