Job summary
Bank of Ireland is seeking a Senior Developer to join the UK Vehicle Finance Tribe, supporting Northridge Finance and Marshall Leasing. You will design, build, and maintain enterprise applications using C#/.NET Core MVC and modern web technologies, collaborating with partners to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
In a collaborative Agile environment, you will contribute to cloud adoption, AI-enabled capabilities, and continuous improvement while mentoring colleagues and upholding high
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technology field.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and support enterprise applications using modern technologies, ensuring solutions are reliable, secure and easy to maintain.
- Work closely with business partners, architects and technology teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Contribute to the adoption of cloud, automation and AI-enabled capabilities across the Vehicle Finance technology platform.
- Participate in Agile delivery activities, sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues and contributing to technical design decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Help maintain high engineering standards through testing, code quality, performance optimisation and the ongoing enhancement of development tools and practices.
