Job summary

Talan is seeking a hands-on Senior Developer to join a high-impact technology team in London, working on risk, valuation and decision support systems. You will cover the full stack, collaborating with business users and peers in an agile environment.

Responsibilities include designing features across UI and data layers, refining requirements with stakeholders, and participating in system design, reviews, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of TypeScript and React.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments with evolving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high quality features across UI, backend services, and data layers.
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver practical solutions.
• Contribute to system design, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Support live systems and participate in an on-call rota.
• Work in a fast paced environment balancing quick deliveries with longer term enhancements.
• Frontend: TypeScript, React.
• Integration with pricing / computational services.
