Job summary

jcdecaux in London is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and extend Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and Power Platform solutions. You will build server-side plugins in C#/.NET, create integrations with REST and SOAP APIs, and craft responsive front-end components using JavaScript/TypeScript.

Working with architects and suppliers, you will implement CI/CD pipelines, mentor junior developers, and drive performance and security improvements across Azure environments.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Dataverse.
  • Proficient in C# and .NET for backend/integration work.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and authentication methods.
  • Solid JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web tech knowledge.
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices and Azure services.
  • Good understanding of databases and data modelling.
  • Strong problem-solving and complex issue handling.
  • Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain customisations and extensions in Dynamics 365 and Dataverse.

  • Mentor junior developers and promote best practices.

Job description

This role supports the design, development, and continuous improvement of our technology solutions across Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure environments. You'll work closely with architects, product teams, and external suppliers to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality technical solutions. Along the way, you'll contribute to transformation initiatives, strengthen integration capabilities, and help improve system performance and reliability.

Reports to: Enterprise & Solution Architect

What you’ll be doing...
  • Design, develop, and maintain customisations and extensions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dataverse
  • Build and maintain C# (.NET) server-side plugins, workflows, and integration services
  • Develop integrations with external APIs (REST, SOAP, webhooks) with strong error handling and resilience
  • Create and enhance front-end components using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Work closely with architecture teams to translate designs into scalable technical solutions
  • Collaborate with third-party suppliers to ensure quality and alignment with internal standards
  • Support live operations including issue resolution, releases, and performance improvements
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and apply DevOps best practices
  • Contribute to data modelling, integration strategies, and performance optimisation
  • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across systems
  • Provide input into planning, estimation, and technical risk assessment
  • Mentor junior developers and promote best practice across the team
