Job summary

UK Home Office is seeking a Senior Developer to deliver core components of our solutions. You will write clean, secure code, follow test-driven development, and operate with autonomy to meet technical standards.

You will mentor engineers, support recruitment and assessment, and help select technologies across front-end and back-end services in a hybrid UK setup (Sheffield, Salford, Croydon, Glasgow). The role also offers a skills allowance up to £17,668 and generous leave.

Qualifications

• Senior Developer with strong coding and architectural skills.
• Experience mentoring engineers and participating in recruitment/assessments.
• Experience with front-end/back-end services and distributed systems desirable.
