Forbes Advisor is hiring! We are expanding our UK-based development team as we continue our journey to evolve Forbes Advisor from a leading publisher into a tech powerhouse in the US market. As part of our Application Engineering team, you will play a key role building immersive experiences for Forbes Advisor's customers as well as developing bespoke internal tools for use in house by the Forbes Advisor team.

Our engineering culture is flat and collaborative, where you will be empowered to help design, architect, and build solutions using the tools best suited to the job. We follow a lean product-driven approach valuing features delivered above estimates and story points.

Our tech stack currently includes: dotnet, NodeJS, Vue, AWS, Terraform, Typescript, ChatGPT, REST, GraphQL, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, NoSQL, New Relic.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable systems and applications. Own services end-to-end, ensuring high availability, performance, and security while continuously improving architecture and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with a team of other senior engineers to help build solutions to meet the users' needs. Contribute to a positive team culture fostering a supportive environment to motivate and challenge each other.
• Embrace a product-driven agile approach with the space to build great things at fast pace. We value features delivered, and embrace continuous deployments, automated testing and the lowest possible maintenance overhead within the finished products.
• Collaborate with the broader marketplace team, tapping into expertise from industry and domain specialists across Europe and the US to create pioneering experiences.
